When registering at the place of residence, the person’s data on the place of residence is recorded in the State Population Register, which enables the person to participate in elections, move freely or change their place of residence, and access public and private services.

To register, it is necessary to come to the relevant territorial subdivision of the Migration and Citizenship Service according to the place of residence—either by booking an appointment in advance via migration-e.gov.am or on-site in a “live queue” format.

To remove a person from the registration at a place of residence, the property owner or one of the co-owners may apply either in person or through an authorized representative to the territorial division of the Migration and Citizenship Service (MCS) servicing the respective address—either by scheduling a visit in advance through the migration-e.gov.am platform or on-site via the "live queue" format.
