To acquire temporary residence status in Armenia, a foreign national or their authorized representative shall apply in person at the Migration and Citizenship Service unit located at 14 Tairov Street, by scheduling an appointment in advance.
After submitting the application for temporary residence status, the foreign national receives a document certifying their residence – a temporary residence card. It is issued for a period of up to one year, with the possibility of extension.

To extend the entry visa, a foreign national or their authorized representative may apply in person (without online appointment) to the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (14 Tairov Street) before the expiration date of the issued entry visa, by submitting a visa extension application form indicating the reason for extending the stay in Armenia.
There are 57 countries whose citizens shall acquire an invitation from a physical person or legal entity residing in Armenia in order to apply for an entry visa to the Republic of Armenia.
