Removing from Registration
To remove a person from the registration at a place of residence, the property owner or one of the co-owners may apply either in person or through an authorized representative to the territorial division of the Migration and Citizenship Service (MCS) servicing the respective address—either by scheduling a visit in advance through the migration-e.gov.am platform or on-site via the "live queue" format.
When booking a visit in advance through the electronic queuing system, it is necessary to provide the applicant’s personal information. An individual appointment shall be booked for each visitor, regardless of age.
To book an appointment online:
- go to the platform migration.e-gov.am, select the “Registration/ removal from registration” section and book a visit,
- after identification, fill in the required information in the “Applicant’s Page” (the name and surname shall be entered in Armenian script as written in the passport) and click the “Next Page” button,
- in the “Place of Visit” field on the next page, select the passport service corresponding to the place of registration,
- choose the most convenient option from the available dates and time slots.
Through the Earlyone application, enter the "Government" section, select the "Migration and Citizenship Service" category, then choose the MCA subdivision serving the applicant’s registered address from the list of branches. After that, go to the "Registration/ removing registration" subsection and fill in the required information in the indicated sequence.
A person shall be deregistered from their place of residence in the following cases:
- based on an application submitted by the property owner or one of the co-owners;
- based on a court ruling;
- in the event of the person’s death;
- when a stateless person leaves the Republic of Armenia for permanent residence abroad and notifies the local registration body in writing;
- when the residence status in the Republic of Armenia has expired;
- upon termination of Armenian citizenship.
To remove a person from registration at an address, the property owner shall submit an application to the MCA subdivision serving that address, attaching copies of the passport and property ownership certificate. In the case of a foreign citizen, copies of the identity document of the Russian Federation citizen or a document confirming legal residence in Armenia shall be submitted
