A special passport may be replaced in case it is lost or no longer suitable for use. 
To acquire a special passport in Armenia, the individual or their authorized representative shall personally apply to the Migration and Citizenship Service office located at 14 Tairov Street, after booking an appointment in advance.

Required documents

On the scheduled date and time of the appointment, the following documents shall be submitted:

• an application addressed to the Head of the Migration and Citizenship Service,
• passport,
• two photos (colored) measuring 35 mm x 45 mm;
• a copy of the lost special passport (if available),
• document attesting the payment of relevant state duty.

Service fee and Payment procedure

In case of a lost special passport, a new one may be obtained by paying 75,000 AMD. If the passport is being replaced due to it being unfit for use or due to changes in personal data, it is issued free of charge.

Payment can be made on-site via POS terminal, online, or at any bank by transferring the amount to the treasury account number 900005162111100.

Processing time and procedure

The new special passport is issued within 5 to 10 days.

To collect the passport, the applicant shall visit the Unified Office for Public Services at 3 Vazgen Sargsyan Street (Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, with a break from 14:00 to 15:00).
