If a person has lost their temporary residence card, he or she may have it restored. If the card is no longer usable or the person has changed their passport, they may replace the residence card.
To restore or replace the residence card, it is necessary to apply in person or through an authorized representative to the Migration and Citizenship Service unit located at 14 Tairov Street.
Required documents
To restore or replace a temporary residence card, the following documents shall be submitted to the Department for Services to Foreigners of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
Service fee and Payment procedure
To reissue a temporary residence card, a payment of AMD 12,000 is required. The payment can be made on-site via POS terminal, online, or at any bank by transferring the amount to the treasury account number 900005162111100.
The temporary residence card is reissued free of charge in the following cases:
Processing time and procedure
The new temporary residence card is issued within 5 to 10 days. To collect it, one shall visit the Unified Office for Public Services located at 3 Vazgen Sargsyan Street (Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, lunch break: 14:00–15:00).
